Location: the hotel was near beach as well as Dorset. And it's just a short walk away from Terroir Tapas, ate there once or twice. The room was newly remodelled with the bedroom, stunning views, comfortable bed for a really good stay.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was slow.

all the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was very good and tasty, the evening meals were good value for two, and good beer, well supported by the locals. the views from the room were out standing, we will certainly be coming back.
the only two faults were, we had two bad evening meals, we complaind and this was sorted out off our bill. the other was the shower was a bit small. But the views from the room made up for that,

I was given a welcoming room with a convenient decor. Easy access to Bournemouth airport, which was about 15 minutes' drive away.

Although we did not pay a great deal for the hotel, we were not given a poky room at the back but had a lovely large room with a sea view from 2 windows. The bathroom was spacious and the breakfast was very good.

The beds are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is a decent size, the Commodore is right opposite the beach, which is down a steep slope but there is a lift.
The Commodore offers a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast, but it badly needs a lick of paint and new carpets, it feels run down, the staff work hard, they are mostly Polish, it's called a Hotel but it's pub that offers accommodation. The pub is full of locals in the evening.

Excellent sea view room, very good staff cheerful and obliging, nice relaxing atmosphere, everyone made time to look after us - we were not just numbers as in some places we have stayed in
Steps up to entrance difficult for disabled guests, long wait each time for someone to attend reception - needs a bell, special diets not catered for, rooms extremely cold; however the new manager assured us he would do what he could to address these issues, and they did not spoil our stay at all

Close to beach, comfortable room, above a pub but no problem with noise or anything.

I liked the style, athmosphere and old world charme. The view of our room over the sea was breathtaking. Access to the beach is easy and to have the pub right in the hotel is very convienient. Excellent breakfast.
Our bathroom looked a bit wrecked, some of the fittings had been ripped out of the wall.

Very friendly obliging staff keen to please but not overbearing. Excellent speedy kitchen service providing good choice of breakfasts and dinners. Lovely comfy bed! 32" flat screen TV in our spacious room. We loved it!
Room was too hot at night- we were here for a spell of 22 degree summer weather in early April so I guess the heating system was expecting it to be 10 or less and still in winter mode! Radiator thermostat very difficult to turn off.

We visited the beach and tried out the local restaurants. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were super friendly. Just remember, parking can be tricky, so plan ahead. A great spot for a group getaway.
We had a bit of a wait for the third meal during dinner, frustrating. It would be great if they could improve on service efficiency.
